Event Information

THE CASTLE TOWER:A fantasy adventure romance published in 1917 by occult playwright, Izumi Kyoka. Its anti-military message prevented performance until after WWII.

THE PUPPETEER: An itinerant puppeteer's puppets come to life in a dance drama romp, featuring favorite romantic and heroic characters from Japanese lore.

Kabuki Dance and Drums, performed entirely in English, by PSU students, to live musical accompaniment, and featuring three guest musicians from Japan.
